Water Polo club Partizan was founded in 1946 and constantly competes on highest national and international level, achieving outstanding results.
There are many legendary coaches that have buit their own carres in the club, Vlaho Bata Orlić (founder of the famous Partizan water polo school), Ratko Rudić, Nikola Stamenić,
Nenad Manojlović, Dejan Udovičić, Dejan Savić, Igor Milanović, Vladimir Vujasinović and many others. VK Partizan throughout many years has contributed by providing players to Serbian national team
that has won gold medals in major competitions - Olympic Games, European and World Championships. The number of players that have learnt their trade in VK Parizan are: Filip Filipović,
Stefan Mitrović, Milan Aleksić, Duško Pijetlović, Andrija Prlainović, Gojko Pijetlović, Branislav Mitrović, Dušan Mandić, Nikola Jakšić,
Dejan Savić, Danilo Ikodinović, Vladimir Vujasinović, Igor Milanović, Aleksandar Šoštar and many more.
The last three Olympic Games (2016 in Rio, 2020 in Tokyo and 2024 in Paris) where Serbia has won Gold medal back to back have been captained by players
who started their careers in the Partizan water polo school - Živko Gocić, Filip Filipović i Nikola Jakšić.
